Florida’s Natural
This post is sponsored by Florida’s Natural. I use Florida’s Natural® Lemonade in this recipe, which is absolutely delicious (I’ve been known to drink glass after glass). As a Florida native I know my lemonades, and I can tell you there is nothing better.
Where is Sangria From
Sangria is from Spain and Portugal. It falls underneath the punch category since it has a combination of a few different types of alcohol and fruits. It’s one of those summer drinks that is light, refreshing and not super overpowering in the alcohol department.
Traditionally sangria is made with red wine, fruits like apple or citrus, and brandy. But this version is light and summer-y, using lots of strawberries, Florida’s Natural Lemonade, rosé wine and white rum.
How to Make Strawberry Lemonade Sangria
- This recipe begins with cooking down strawberries to make a strawberry syrup. In asaucepan, combine the sugar with the strawberries and cook it until it’s super fragrant and starts to thicken.
- Transfer it to a blender, along with the Florida’s Natural Lemonade, rosé and rum. Blend it on low speed until it’s all combined. Strain it through a fine mesh strainer and into a pitcher.
- Add the strawberry slices, lemon slice and stick it in the fridge until it’s chilled, about one hour or so.
- Add ice to each glass and then pour the sangria into the glass, being sure you add a few slices of strawberries and lemons for the perfect sangria look.
TIPS AND TRICKS
- This is the perfect drink to make ahead. This drink is good for up to two days when stored in the fridge.
- If you want to make this drink non-alcoholic, feel free to use a non-alcoholic wine and skip the rum altogether. It’ll still be delicious.

Delicious, refreshing strawberry lemonade sangria. It tastes like summer in a cup. A strawberry syrup paired with lemonade, rosé wine and fresh fruit, make for the most perfect sangria for summer.
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound fresh, small strawberries, diced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 1 1/2 cup Florida’s Natural® Lemonade
- 750 milliliters dry rosé, chilled
- 1/4 cup white rum
- 5 or 6 fresh strawberries, thinly sliced
- 2 lemons, thinly sliced into rounds
- Ice
- Sparkling water, to top if desired
Instructions
To a saucepan add the strawberries and toss with sugar and a pinch of salt. Set the pan over medium heat and cook for 10 minutes, stirring often. The strawberries will start to thicken into a sauce and be very fragrant. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
Transfer the mixture to a blender, add the lemonade and blend on medium speed until smooth. Add the rosé and rum and blend on low speed for 10 seconds
Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher.
Add the strawberry slices and lemon slices. Stick the pitcher in the fridge and chill for about one hour or so. Pour into glasses filled with ice, making sure you get slices of strawberry and lemon in each glass. Top with sparkling water, if desired.
