STRAWBERRY LEMONADE SANGRIA is very refreshing and super tasty! Pitcher drinks are the best for entertaining!!!
When summer rolls around and the temperatures rise we start to entertain more. I think it’s because we have so many projects we’re working on in our house but our backyard is awesome! It feels secluded and amazing! It’s filled with tall trees and looks like a green forest. We have an amazing covered deck and soon on the side, we’ll have a great patio with fire pit and outdoor kitchen. (Another project we took on before all the others were done because that’s how we roll!) We have Blue jays and squirrels and it’s such a big shift from living in the desert of Arizona for ten years. Both have their beauty and nature but the lush green of Oregon is where I feel most at home.
When we’re having friends over I LOVE to have a pitcher co*cktail on hand and it’s usually some sort of sangria. One of my favorites is Strawberry Lime Moscato Punch and then there’s Peach Sangria. It’s so great having a drink with fantastic flavor that also has fruit, I mean it’s a snack and a drink!!! Strawberry Lemonade Sangria is fantastic! I don’t know too many people that don’t love strawberry lemonade. It’s such a refreshing summer drink! I thought why not turn it into a great summer co*cktail! This is really yummy!! Make sure that you have a VERY large pitcher. I tend to not fit everything in my pretty pitcher. No big deal. I would add the ginger ale last. If you don’t think it’ll all fit just add it to the glasses as they’re poured. Letting it sit at least the two hours is critical. You’ll actually see a color difference once it’s had a chance to sit because the juice from the strawberries has had a chance to release! Make a batch this summer and relax! Cheers!

This is a really nice sangria; I’ve made it a few times and it’s always a crowd pleaser!
I do double the vodka, and you still can’t reallt taste it with all the other flavors! ?
Mix and match fruits (depending on what’s on hand) but always use lemons!Reply

Thank you so much! I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed it and so have others. I’ll have to try doubling the vodka too.

Do you use the lemonade concentrate full strength or do you mix up the lemonade with the water and then add it to the recipe?

Aubrey Cota says
I usually use already made lemonade. If you choose to use concentrate then you’ll want to make it up first as using just the concentrate mixed with the other ingredients could be a bit strong. Of course you could also do a test pitcher and try it out!! 🙂

Thank you for the recipe! I made this yesterday for my guests and they were amazed by how good this drink tasted! It is a little bit on the strong side (at least for me, personally), however it is easy to make it lighter by adding a bit more ginger ale. I would highly recommend this recipe to others!Reply

I don’t have vodka. Do you think I could substitute rum?? Also could I just top off each individual glass with ginger ale instead of mixing in the wine/alcohol?

Hi Heather! Rum will definitely change this recipe. Vodka is a neutral spirit with no flavor, unlike rum. That being said, a coconut rum would go well with the strawberry and lemon flavors. 🙂 You could top off each glass with ginger ale if needed, but the amount used could vary the taste of the co*cktail so I’d do a tester glass first.
